Anyone with a Bluedeer account can create a workspace, whatever their personal plan. You become its owner. You pay for it with seats, so you choose its first seats when you create it.
Create a workspace on the web
- Select the workspace name at the top of the sidebar to open the workspace list. Select Create workspace at the bottom of the list.
- Enter a Workspace name.
- Check the Workspace address. It is filled in from the workspace name. You can change it. Use lowercase letters, numbers and single hyphens. The address cannot start or end with a hyphen. It can't be changed after the workspace is created.
- Under First seats, choose a seat tier (Pro, Premium or Max), the number of seats (at least 2) and Monthly or Yearly billing.
- Select Continue to payment. Payment is handled by Stripe. The workspace is created when the payment is confirmed.
If the address is taken, Bluedeer suggests other addresses that you can choose instead. If someone takes the address while you are paying, the workspace is not created and your payment is refunded.
Create a workspace on the phone
On the iPhone or Android app, tap the workspace name at the top of the screen, then tap Create a workspace. The form has a Workspace name field and a Workspace address field. The seats are bought through the App Store or Google Play, and the button says Buy seats and create workspace.
After you create the workspace
You become the workspace's owner and take one of its first seats. Everyone who works in the workspace needs a seat, so add seats as your team grows. Continue with Buy and assign seats, then Invite people to a team.
