These steps are for the web app.
Attach files or images
- Click Attach files in the message box (its tooltip reads Attach files or images), then choose the files.
- The files appear in a row above the box. To take one out, click the × button next to its name.
- Send your message.
You can also paste files into the message box or drop them onto it.
Record a voice message
- Click Record voice message (the microphone button).
- Speak. A recording bar shows the elapsed time. To discard the recording, click Cancel recording.
- Click Send voice message to send it. If Bluedeer is still answering your previous message, the button reads Attach voice message instead, and the recording is added to your next message.
Recording stops by itself after one minute, and the recording is attached. To record again, remove the attached voice message first.
Mention a person or a file
Type @ in the message box. A list opens with two rows:
- People: other members of a team workspace. A personal workspace has no People row.
- Files: the files in this workspace.
Open a row to see its items. If you keep typing after the @, the matching people and files appear straight away. Select an item to insert it as a tag, such as @report. You can mention up to 20 items in one message, and Bluedeer tells you when you reach the limit.
For the files themselves, see Upload and preview files.
