Check your usage and what happens at a limit

Where to see how much you have used, and what Bluedeer does when a limit stops a reply.

Each plan has limits on how much you can use Bluedeer: one for each day and one for each week. There is no monthly limit. The daily limit starts over every day at midnight UTC, and the weekly limit every Monday at midnight UTC. The app shows how much you have used, not the limits themselves.

See your usage

On the web, for your personal workspace:

  1. Open the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar.
  2. Select Manage workspace.
  3. Select Usage.

The Usage tab shows the tokens you have used today and this week, input and output together, and when each count starts over in your own time.

For a team, open the team's Workspace page, select Settings, then select Usage. This shows the tokens you have used on your own seat in that team. It does not show what the whole team has used, and it does not show your personal plan.

When a limit stops a reply

If a limit is reached while Bluedeer is replying:

  • The reply stops. Any text that was already written stays in the chat.
  • The message says when the limit resets, if that time is known. For a reset later today it gives the time. For a later reset it gives the date and time.
  • If a paid plan ends partway through a week, what you used that week still counts. On the Free plan you can use Bluedeer again when the next week starts.
  • Most web searches take nothing from your allowance. Those that do use the same allowance as your chats, with no separate count of searches. If your allowance runs out partway through a reply and the assistant then searches, Bluedeer tries a search that costs nothing, and if it works the reply finishes with the results. Read How does web search use my usage?.
  • If your own plan's limit stopped the reply, the message has an Upgrade plan button, which opens Plan & billing. A team's limit does not show this button. If your seat in a team reaches its weekly limit, the message says that the workspace owner manages seats.

To raise your personal limits, see Upgrade or change your plan.
