Web search and reading web pages are available on every plan, Free included, and work the same way on every plan.
Which searches use your allowance
When the assistant searches the web or reads a page, Bluedeer first uses a search service that costs nothing, so most searches and page reads take nothing from your usage allowance. If that service is busy or cannot answer, Bluedeer uses a second service, and that search or page read uses a small part of your allowance, the same allowance that your chats use.
There is no separate share or count for web search. The daily and weekly allowance is the only limit. Read Check your usage and what happens at a limit to see how much you have used.
When your allowance is used up
If your allowance runs out while the assistant is replying, and the assistant then searches the web or reads a page, Bluedeer tries the service that costs nothing:
- If it answers, the assistant finishes that reply using the results. Finishing the reply can take you a little past your limit, and that counts toward your usage like any other reply. While it finishes, nothing else that uses your allowance runs: no paid search, page read or image.
- If it is busy or cannot answer, the reply stops with the usage limit message, which says when your allowance resets.
If your allowance is already used up when you send a message, you get the usage limit message straight away and no search runs. The assistant needs part of your allowance to read your message before it can search, so a new message waits until your allowance resets.
The day starts over at midnight UTC, and the week on Monday at midnight UTC, the same as the rest of your usage.
