How do I upgrade or restore my plan in the app?

Explains where to see your plan, how to upgrade in the app through the App Store or Google Play, and what the Restore button does.

Plans are bought and changed through the store on your phone: the App Store on iPhone, or Google Play on Android. The app shows your current plan and its renewal date, and it starts the purchase for you.

See your plan

Open Settings and go to Account > Profile & plan > Subscription. The Current Plan card at the top shows your plan. Tap the card to see more, including the Manage Subscription button. That button opens the subscriptions page of your store.

In a team workspace, this row is called Your seat. Personal upgrades are available after you switch to your Personal workspace.

Upgrade

  1. On the subscription page, choose Monthly or Annually.
  2. Tap Upgrade Now on the plan you want.
  3. Confirm the purchase in the store's sheet.
  4. When the purchase is complete, the app shows a confirmation.

Your current plan shows Currently Subscribed. A plan that has ended shows Renew.

Moving to the free plan is done in your store, not in the app. If you choose the free plan, the app tells you to manage your subscription in your store settings.

If your plan was bought through the other store, or on the Bluedeer website, the app shows a notice that the plan is managed there, for example "Your plan is managed on the web". In that case the app does not offer purchases or changes for it. If a Google Play purchase still goes through while your plan is billed on the website, it is not applied and Google Play refunds it automatically.

Restore purchases

Tap Restore at the top right of the subscription page. The app checks the purchases on your store account and applies any active ones to your Bluedeer account. Then it shows the result: Restored when subscriptions were restored, No Purchases Found when none were found, or Nothing to Restore when the purchases found can no longer be restored, for example because they are no longer active. If a subscription already belongs to another Bluedeer account, the result says so.

The Restore button appears only when the app can buy plans on your device.
