An invitation is sent to one email address. You can accept it only with that address.
Accept on the web
- Open the link in the invitation email. It opens the invitation page, which says who invited you, the team, and your role.
- Sign in with the email address the invitation was sent to. If you are signed in to a different account, select Use another account. If you are not signed in, select Sign in to join first.
- Select the join button. It reads Join followed by the team's name, or Join workspace when the name is not shown.
To refuse the invitation, select Decline instead.
After you join, the team appears in the workspace menu. Your role is the one the invitation gave you. The seat that was reserved for the invitation is the one you use.
Accept on the phone
Open the invitation link on your phone. The app shows who invited you, the team and your role. If you are signed in, select Join followed by the team's name, or Join workspace when the name is hidden. If you are signed in with another address, the app tells you which address the invitation was sent to. If you are not signed in, the button reads Sign up to join. Sign up with the invited address. Once your email is verified, the app joins you to the team with that invitation.
You can also find a pending invitation in Notifications, where you can join it with Join workspace or decline it with Decline.
